About Us...

We would love to meet current and future pipers and drummers interested in joining our organization. We take a no-nonsense approach to piping and drumming and we would welcome new potential members that share our vision of quality musical performance.

Every year we host a
Robert Burns Dinner. This event allows us to share with the community the Scottish culture and heritage that we cherish so dearly. The evening is a traditional event with recitation of Burns'  poetry and song as well as the appropriate toasts to the lads, lassies, and the immortal memory of Burns himself.

However, the evening would not be complete  without a performance by ourselves. We entertain the audience with traditional tunes as well as a few contemporary pieces that spice up the evening.

The Evansville Pipe Band is an non-profit organization. Our goal is to preserve the heritage and culture that
IS Highland Piping and Drumming. We accomplish this by providing free lessons to beginners and performing for  public enjoyment.

As always, we do require financial support. Any donations made to the band are tax-deductible and are used to purchase new reeds, drum heads, etc.
